I was the shy kid who got cut from every sports team. I never planned to start a company. I just got hurt in a spin class, got angry about it, and built CITYROW instead. Ten years later, I'd raised over $20 million, built a national brand, navigated a pandemic, and sold the company. I wrote the whole unfiltered story in my book, Making Waves, because I wish someone had handed it to me at the beginning. Now I spend my time helping other founders and executives skip some of the hard parts, or at least not feel so alone in them.
